Content writer, designer, and lifelong learner

Hello! I’m Janis from Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines. With more than 10 years of experience, I’ve written for BPO firms, SaaS companies, e-commerce giants, and founders who care about clarity and authenticity.

I got my start in content marketing and SEO, writing everything from landing pages and LinkedIn posts to thought leadership articles. These days, I’m transitioning into product content, with the goal of designing clear, useful, human content for real users.

What I'm working on

In recent years, I've worked on product descriptions for one of Australia's largest family-owned office and school supplies retailer. I also have designed content strategies for professional services in the audit and accounting spaces. On the side, I did ghostwriting gigs for B2B founders and freelancers.

I'm currently studying multimedia at the UP Open University, exploring how design thinking and multimedia theories can enhance my content. I’m especially interested in content systems, accessibility, and building digital spaces that actually make sense.

When I'm not working, I'm writing essays, editing videos, or trying to get better at Mandarin. Sometimes all at once.
