It’s MMFF season! Have you seen Siargao the Movie yet?

It’s the film fest season in the Philippines again! One of the features is Paul Soriano’s Siargao (the movie). I’m planning to see this, along with the intriguing Ang Larawan. I’ll update this post and add a mini-review once I see the film.

Here are some of the cast members in a promotional video about the island.

I’ve never been to Siargao in Mindanao before but watching this trailer made me want to go there badly!

Update: I read Esquire’s review of the film and I’ve lost interest in watching the movie. If you have seen it, do you recommend it? Should I watch it?

I’m a person of simple tastes and wants. All I’ve ever wanted since I was 12 was to have my own room where I can display my notebook collection. When I was 16, I was content to stay in bed and write in my journal. At 22, I thought I needed nothing more than classical music and a bowl of spaghetti.
