Who doesn’t love Baguio? It may be a bit too crowded for some, but it will always have a special place in our hearts as the Summer Capital of the Philippines. A four- to five-hour drive from Manila, Baguio can be easily accessed via the NLEX. Don’t forget to try the famous strawberry taho!

If you want an action-filled weekend, go to Baler, Aurora. You can learn how to surf in any of the resorts along Sabang Bay, or enjoy its breaking waves if you’re an advanced surfer. If that’s not your cup of tea, you can just sample their delicious seafood and local delicacies.
